Miscellaneous
- Field Use Permit
- Patch: The little league patch goes on the left sleeve of the uniform. Sew the patch on two inches from the bottom of the cuff.
Field Setup
The big thing with field setup is putting the white lines on the field and getting out the bases. The lines are spray-painted onto the dirt using a roller that holds a can of spray-paint with a trigger in the handle. There is a template for making the batter's box. The process is:
- Place the template next to home plate and walk on it to make an impression in the dirt for the batter's box.
- Paint the batter's box by running the spray-paint roller over the impression.
- Stretch the string from the corner of the plate to the outfield grass (down the middle of the basepaths).
- Run the spray-paint roller over the string to make the baseline.
- Repeat 3 and 4 for the other basepath.
- Insert 3 bases, making sure the arrow on top that says "Mound -->" points toward the pitcher's mound.
